While countries of the world are battling to curtail the spread of the Coronavirus in their nations, Taiwan has reportedly succeeded in curbing the virus.
A Twitter user, Dave Partner, @IAmDavePartner, in an attempt to let the rest of the world know how Taiwan has been able to achieve the major milestone of not recording any novel cases of the virus tweeted:

“2/ here is what Taiwan’s total score looks like today. What is not included here is that they now have 0 new cases. Which means they are about 2 weeks away from having 0 Corona viruses cases in their country.

He went further to state that:
“3/ it started on December 31st when their deputy chairman for center of disease control read online that there is a secret outbreak in China. He instantly raised alarm and Taiwan went on full alert. This was before China even alerted WHO. The man below was the whistleblower
“Taiwan never implemented a lockdown, instead the fully implemented over 272 rehearsed action items they wrote down in the event of a disease outbreak. They started quarantining people on flights from China on January 5 and got their first case on 21st January. Abba kyari #ncdc
“4/ that same day, they banned export of Face masks and ordered soldiers to join over 67 face-mask manufacturing companies to ramp up production. Within 2 weeks, they moved from under 1 million to 13million face masks per day. Then they started issuing it out to citizens by ration.
“5/ 2 weeks later in early February Taiwan banned the exportation of thermometers. They also ramped up covid19 tests. They eventually tested over 50,000 with only about 300 confirmed.

“6/ Taiwan did not fully restrict flights but allowed flights from people with urgent business needs. Visitors must rent a room in their isolation center for 2 weeks before going for their business visit. The quarantine centers were strictly monitored with digital fencing
“7/ SUMMARY: In all 3 months, Taiwan never: 1. Implemented a lockdown 2. Got more than 400 cases 3. Shot its citizens for violating any covid19 rules 4. Distributed any relief materials to anyone They instead focused on the source of covid19 and effectively isolated it. NCDC.”
