The United States of America is the new epicenter of coronavirus in the world with over 59,000 deaths and over 1,000,000 recorded cases of coronavirus. Donald Trump has said that contrary to views that his administration was weak in the fight against COVID-19, the spike in the case was a sign of the testing capabilities of the country.
He made this known in a tweet on Wednesday, moments after the Coronavirus case in the country crossed one million (about 30% of the global COVID-19 cases).
However, the number of deaths in the country is currently the highest (59,000) according to Worldometer figures.

But Donald Trump argues that knowing citizen’s COVID-19 status would help the health authorities to know who to treat.
“The only reason the U.S. has reported one million cases of CoronaVirus is that our Testing is so much better than any other country in the World. Other countries are way behind us in Testing, and therefore show far fewer cases!,” he said.
Donald Trump also alleged that other countries(like China) COVID-19 cases were being under-reported for propaganda purposes.
The World Health Organization (WHO) had also said that due to poor testing facilities in some countries, the reported COVID-19 cases there may not be the actual reality.
