The Founder of the Synagogue Church of All Nations (SCOAN), Prophet TB Joshua, has revealed how he raise money to do what he does as a preacher despite not making calls for offering on his broadcast channel, Emmanuel TV.

The popular prophet said in a question-and-answer series posted on Instagram on Sunday night that ‘people of conscience’ give to the church without being asked to do so.

“That we are not asking for offerings does not mean people are not giving. People that God prompts their conscience to give are giving,” he wrote.

“They may not be many but people of conscience I mean, the right people are giving genuinely, for the salvation of their soul—and their giving is blessed of God. They know it is more blessed to give than to receive (Acts 20:35).

TB Joshua described ‘wrong people’ as “corrupt people, dubious people, people who steal or do rituals – those who got their things from the wrong source.”

He continued, “They fail to realise that tithes and offerings are a thing of the Spirit, just as prayer is a thing of the Spirit. Faithless people must be reminded to pray before they can pray. But faith people are prompted by their spirit – because prayer is a thing of the Spirit. Giving is like serving. Both should be done with joy – without being reminded because you don’t need to be reminded to do that which gives you joy.”

The cleric recently took to an undisclosed mountain to pray for the world against the coronavirus pandemic.
