Ramsey signed for Arsenal in 2008, his move to Italy ending an 11-year stay where he made 371 appearances for the club.

The Welsh midfielder, 29, swapped London in favour of Turin on a free transfer last summer when his Emirates contract came to an end.

Ramsey spent 11 years with the Gunners after a move from Cardiff, winning two FA Cups in the process but failing to get his hands on the coveted Premier League trophy.

And his Italian job with perennial champs Juve is well under way after clocking up 24 appearances under new boss Maurizio Sarri.

Ramsey admits it was impossible to snub Juventus’ offer when it arrived at his door.

And the Wales star believes he was no longer pushing himself after spending over a decade in the red of Arsenal.

Ramsey told Foot Truck: “Juventus is a massive club, one of the top teams around in the world so when they come calling for you it’s hard to turn them down.

“I was in a position where I was at a club for a very long time and I fancied a change to get out of my comfort zone to learn a new language, hopefully very slowly.”

“When you come here you get the feeling of how important it is to win. When you change the club you arrive at some point in your career where you just want to win trophies.
