Yesterday I felt justified for standing in and taking a shot for my best friend and brother from another mother on October 4th, 2018. That was the APGA primary election day that gave him the APGA party ticket as the Nnewi North APGA candidate for the Anambra State House of Assembly.

Prior to the primary election, I stood suddenly behind Smart against my own cousin brother and son to my godfather. I knew Smart (Nonso Okafor) representing Nnewi will be the best thing that will happen to not just Ndi Nnewi but to Anambra State in general. Therefore I was ready to give my all to ensure that he won the APGA primary election and which includes taking a shot for him which made me had a major leg injury that I have not gotten over till today.

To many who wonder why I limp when I walk, it was all for Smart (Nonso Okafor) so he could give Nnewi and Anambra State the best representation.

To many who wonder why I use a walking stick to aide my walk, it was all for Smart so he could build a house for these Childless widows.

Today, looking at the house he built for the three Childless widows, I feel justified that I have to lose my leg for my best friend to get the platform to change the age-long narrative. It was Archimedes who said “Give me a place to stand and I’ll move the world”. Smart deserves another larger platform to stand than this present one in other to move our state forward.

What he has just done is not his best, it is just a token of what he can do and trust me, by the time he’s done with his 4-year mandate, he will surely leave a big shoe for the next entrant.

I feel justified of giving you my total support and I’ll yet feel justified for the support we shall all give you for the larger task ahead because just as I have always told you- I strongly believe that God in His infinite mercies has chosen you as one of the reformers that will deliver our nation from the bondage of all ages.

May God continue to grant you the grace to overcome the challenges and circumstances as you walk to fulfill your God’s ordained destiny.
