A 14-year-old girl has been charged with murder after her 10-year-old cousin was found dead in the state’s north on Wednesday morning.
Emergency services were called to a home in Gunnedah at 7.15am following reports a 10-year-old had serious lacerations.
Police sources said she suffered horrific injuries, but could not provide further details.

Following inquiries, police arrested the 14-year-old girl and she was taken to Gunnedah police station where she was charged with murder. She has been refused police bail and will appear in children’s court on Thursday.
Investigations are on going.
However, In another story, A young girl called Patience Samuel, 20 has been accused of witchcraft by her aunty who threatened to k**l her and “drink your blood.”
Daniel Aigbogun, who is a pastor made the claim, alleging that this took place in Sabon Kaura, Bauchi State.

He told Newsmen that the aunty locked Patience up in a room in their house on alleged witchcraft claim, on June 24th, 2020, before the young girl managed to escape via the roof.
According to Daniel, upon her escape, Patience who is his mentee, ran to his place for safety with the aunty storming his premises later in the day, alongside two others, to forcefully take her away.
