Moses, Sanchez Extends Inter Milan Loan Until Aug 31

Serie A club, Inter Milan has extended the contracts of Victor Moses and Alexis Sanchez. The two player’s loan was suppose to end at the end of the season but the two clubs reached an agreement and would like to extend their stay until at least August 31, in such a way that they can be available for the Final Eight of the Europa League.

According to reports from Tuttosport, the agreement with Chelsea for Moses, and Manchester united for Sanchez, there would still be but filters optimism among environments and inter, with the club confident of being able to close by tomorrow.

According to Italian sports daily, Corriere dello Sport, via Sempre Inter, a new agreement has been reached with Chelsea that will see the right wing-back remain at the Nerazzurri until August 31, 2020.

Moses’ original agreement with Inter Milan would have kept him in Italy until June 30, 2020.

Moses joined Inter on a six month loan deal back in the January transfer window and the loan was recently extended until the end of the Serie A season, which ends at the start of next month.

A new agreement has been reached between the clubs which means Moses will be on loan at Inter until August 31 meaning he will be available to play for Inter in the Europa League.

If Chelsea agree a deal to sell him before that date though he will leave Inter. The report from the Rome based news outlet goes on to explain that Inter are continuing to work on keeping Alexis Sanchez.

Sanchez joined on a season long loan and Inter would like to keep him for next season too but before that need to try and reach an agreement to extend the current loan until the end of August like Moses’.

Manchester United manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has confirmed that he has no regrets over agreeing to let Romelu Lukaku and Alexis Sanchez depart the club this past Summer.

Lukaku left the Premier League outfit in a permanent move to Inter in a €65 million transfer deal whilst Sanchez joined Inter on a season long loan, which has since been extended until the end of the Serie A season at the start of next month, which is finishing later due to the Coronavirus pandemic.

“The decisions we made last summer and in January, bringing players in and allowing players to move on, in my mind they were always for the good of the club and the team both in giving youngsters a chance and trust to the other ones, accepting that some players have been great servants to the club,” he explained in his pre-match press conference

“I would still make the same decision if I can go back six or 12 months.

”Since joining Inter, Lukaku has played very well and is on the brink of matching his personal record for goals scored in a season.

With at least nine games left to play, the Belgian is almost certain to set a new record for himself.Sanchez has meanwhile scored two goals and provided six assists for his teammates in 21 outings for the club.
