Pep Guardiola has accused Jurgen Klopp and Jose Mourinho of ganging up against Man City after both managers criticized CAS decision to overturn their European ban.

The Liverpool boss said the decision is “a bad day for football” while Tottenham gaffer Mourinho branded the outcome of the appeal “a disgrace”.

And City boss Guardiola has demanded that both manager should now apologize to Man City for their comments as well as other managers who attempted to ruin their reputation.

“They have their opinions, Jose and Jurgen, but I tell them this was a good day for football, a very good day. Jose and other managers should know that we were damaged and we should be apologised to.

“We don’t expect other clubs to defend us, but we have the right to defend ourselves when we believe what we’ve done is correct.

“We wanted the resolution from CAS as soon as possible to clarify this. “So, next time, make phone calls to our chairman or CEO and say ‘guys, all of these clubs we’re going to do it all together to try to get this kind of resolution,” Mirror quoting Guardiola.

Meanwhile, Anaedoonline.ng had earlier reported that Man City’s two-year Champions League ban have been overturned and the Citizens are eligible to compete in next season’s competition.

Pep Guardiola’s side were previously handed a two-season ban to compete in Europe after they were found guilty of transfer irregularities.

The Etihad outfit immediately appealed the ban and it has now been lifted as the outgoing Premier League champions will compete in next season’s competition.

City are in good form in the current Champions League campaign as they hold a 2-1 first-leg advantage over Real Madrid in the round of 16 clash played at the Bernabeu.

However, the race for the Premier League top four has now been thrown wide open as Chelsea, Leicester City, Man United and Wolves with do battle for the last two slots.
