US Presidency: Kanye West Commence Presidential Campaign

Kanye West has today commenced his Presidential campaign in South Carolina. The event which kicked off at 5 pm, held at the Exquis Event Center in North Charleston and is “for registered guests only.”

A statement seen on ABC News, said all those who were present at the event were made to sign a COVID-19 liability release form, social distance, and wear a mask. West will also be holding a pre-rally press event.

He had earlier pleaded with his supporters in a tweet to sign up as he is looking to acquire signatures to get on the ballot in South Carolina.

He wrote: “Hi guys please sign up to put me on the ballot in South Carolina at any of these locations,” he wrote, sharing a list of locations. “You can also sign up at the website kanye2020.country.”

It’s unclear how West would qualify to get on the ballot in South Carolina as the deadline to file signatures as an independent candidate was July 15. He has also missed the deadline to qualify for the ballot in several states.

Earlier, Kanye West took to Photoshopping his face to Mount Rushmore.

The Billionaire rapper shared on Twitter an edited sculpture of his face carved on the Mount Rushmore in the Black Hills, South Dakotaa. He simply captioned the post :”2020.
