Tragic: 4 People Mysteriously Die In a Newly Rented Flat In Asaba (Photo)

At least four persons have reportedly died in a newly rented apartment in Reachman Estate, beside AGGS School, Asaba. The incident happened yesterday.

According to an eyewitness who took to Nairaland to share details, a woman and three boys were involved in the tragic incident, while one person was found unconscious.

It is believed the death might have been caused by poison from generator fumes.

Taking to Nairaland, the eyewitness wrote:

3 boys and 1 girl died while 1 person was found unconscious.

The unconscious boy happened to be the person who rented the flat 3days ago have now been rushed to the FMC Hospital by his Neighbours.

The cause of the death is yet unknow as the time of writing this.

Police and other health workers are presently here at the estate.

Anaedooline.ng reported that, a gas station located in Umuoma Nekede Owerri-west LGA of Imo state has been gutted by fire, killing a family of five.

According to reports that the incident which took place on Friday was triggered by a truck discharging cooking gas.

According to an eye witness, Princely Onyenwe, the truck caught fire while discharging gas and destroyed vegetation around.

“I put the blame on the carelessness of the operators of Tiengo gas station who ignored its leakage. The flaring of the gas quickly sent the fire to a nearby compound and burnt five people, four children and the wife of Mr. Onyekpandu Ekeada.

“Another residential house affected by the inferno is brothers and sisters lodge. Gas stations should not be sited around residential areas because of their inflammable nature. The Imo government should look into this,” he advised.
