When the roll is being called among entrepreneurs that dared the risk of delving into a new business environment with the very many uncertainties involved, the name Engr. Felix Unachukwu will always be mentioned.
During the era of President Olusegun Obasanjo, he introduced GSM to the country and most entrepreneurs were scared to tow that relatively new business line but not the person of Engr. Felix. He went into the market with guts, even as a young man, started out very small and became one of the biggest in that line until the need to diversify came on board.
Engineer Felix Nnamdi Unachukwu, a great son of the soil(Nwa Anaedo), is a seasoned business coach, a business consultant, and a blazing entrepreneur with an audacious 20 years experience. He is a graduate of the University of Nigeria, Nsukka, where he studied Electronic and Engineering, did Owner Management Program at Pan Atlantic University(Lagos Business School), and Masters in Business Administration(MBA) University of South Wales UK. He is a distinguished fellow of African Business School and a student at Walden University USA.
His business experience spans across ICT, Telecommunication, Oil & Gas, Food & Beverages, Real Estate, Fashion, Building Material, and Agriculture. He is the founder of Dax Tech Ltd. a leading mobile phone distribution company in Nigeria
He became concerned about the rising cases of crime and fraud in 3rd World societies and it inspired him to come up with a ‘Mentorship’ program tagged “Bizness Matters” to help checkmate crime, helping young minds explore business opportunities. Bizness Matters is an initiative to coach young men and women on entrepreneurship. It is to equip them with tools on how to start-up and run their own businesses despite all the odds.
The goal at the end is to get the youths busy and also equip them with the necessary tools to become successful. According to Engr. Unachukwu, When we have more SMEs, unemployment will drop and the crime rate will drop equally.
