He is the third child in a family os seven, where parents are most times the mission makers and decider of everyone’s general direction in life, especially in Africa. He attended St. Gregory’s College, Ikoyi secondary school, and after his graduation in the year 2009, he proceeded to study Chemical Engineering at Covenant University.
While at the University he discovered his musical talent which led to him releasing his solo songs. Nonso quit his schooling at Covenant University and moved to Swansea University where he obtained his first degree. In 2015, he released his first EP which attracted so many attention. His hit track “Tonight” made waves around the globe and launched him to the limelight.

Nonso has recorded songs with top Nigerian artistes like MI Abaga, Maleek Berry, and Banky W. When asked how he discovered his musical talent, he revealed that he was inspired by modern R&B, citing Toronto native Drake’s genre-hopping style as an influence. Nonso also revealed that growing up in Lagos also helped him to understand afrobeat better. The singer has gained world recognition and in 2017 he released his first Homecoming Concert in Nigeria. Nonso also holds a master’s degree from McMaster University, Canada.
