Adeshina Abdulazizi, A 34-year-old man has been arrested for raping a 3-year-old girl in Bauchi State. On August 2nd, the resident of Igbo quarters in Bauchi Metropolis, lured the little girl into his room where he reportedly committed the said offence.
Bauchi Police Public Relations Officer (PPRO), Ahmed Mohammed Wakili said the suspect confessed to the crime and also admitted to defiling 4 other minors.
Wakili said;
“On the 02/08/2020 at about 0800hrs the suspect (Abdulazizi) lured the victim into his room situated at Igbo Quarters, Bauchi and forcefully had unlawful carnal knowledge of her against her consent.
“Hence information received and he was arrested immediately. The suspect confessed to the crime and stated that he has raped not less than four minors.”
Recall that anaedoonline reported that a 44-year-old man identified as Ezekiel Mahai has been arrested by officials of Adamawa state police command for allegedly raping an underaged girl with special needs in Adamawa.
This sad incident comes barely three days after another man identified as Obiora Patrick reportedly confessed to have raped his nine-year-old step-daughter in Yola, the state capital.
This was disclosed by the Police Public Relations Officer in the state, DSP Suleiman Nguroje.
According to the police, Mahai allegedly raped the girl in Prakwanta Village under Gombi Local Government Area of the state.
It was further revealed that the suspect, Mahai carefully monitored the movement of his victim’s mother before raping her.
“The victim is now undergoing medical screening while the suspect has been taken into custody for investigation and prosecution.” Nguroje disclosed.
In a related story, Anaedoonline reported that the Police have arrested a – 44 – year old Pastor of the Christ Apostolic Church(CAC), Ogo Oluwa parish, Oluwafemi Oyebola, for allegedly raping his biological daughter routinely.
Oyebola was arrested following a complaint by his 24 – year-old daughter, who asked to remain anonymous.
The girl reported at the Owode-Egbado divisional headquarters that her father has been forcefully having carnal knowledge of her since 2015 shortly after the demise of her mother.
She told the Police that she got pregnant for her father three times but he took her to a nurse where those pregnancies were terminated.
The distraught and pregnancy – weary daughter also told the Police after termination of the third pregnancy, the father did family planning for her so as not to get pregnant any longer.
But when it dawned on her that her father was all out to ruin her life, she ran away from home and reported her ordeals to an Non Governmental Organisation – Advocacy For Children And Vulnerable Persons Network.
