A Nigerian man has sparked a debate online following his revelation on Sallah day about how his mum tried to ‘protect’ the family.
The man known as Mr Alan shared a story of how his mum accepted meat given to her family in the spirit of the Eid-el-Kabir celebration but she ended up using anointing oil to refry it.

Mr Alan who appeared disturbed by his mother’s act, took to Twitter to seek people’s opinion on the matter. He also revealed that the Sallah meat was eventually eaten by him.
He wrote: “Can we talk about how somebody gave my mum Sallah meat and my mum refried it with anointing oil.”
