iLLBLISS Oga Boss was born Tobechukwu Melvin Ejiofor on December 30th, 1979 in Enugu, Nigeria. He was raised in a noble home as his strict father guarded him in the right path of life.
His father didn’t also want him to pursue his musical talent which is always the norm from most strict parents. After grdaduating from the university, the rapper worked in a bank for a while before resigning to to pursue his career.

However, the issue of childbearing was a problem to the couple as they waited for eight years to welcome their first child. The couple believed in God and in 2017, they welcomed their baby girl Sochikaima.
“It was intense my wife and I were childless for eight years and God just did it for us and gave us a baby at a point when we didn’t even know what to do next. We didn’t know how it was going to happen, we didn’t know what the problem was, we were just optimistic and prayerful about it,” he said.

He has received many nominations and won awards, the most notable being the award for Best Hiphop Video (for the hit “U Go Wound O!!”) at the 2008 maiden edition of the Soundcity Music Video Awards which was presented to him by the American hip-hop star Nas. In 2019, he made a debut in acting by starring in the movie King of Boys as Odogwu
