The Caretaker Committee Chairman of the Anambra Football Association, Dr. Emeka Okeke and his team earlier this day; August 13, paid a courtesy visit to the Speaker of Anambra State House of Assembly, Rt. Hon. Uche Victor Okafor at the State Assembly Complex, Awka.
In his opening remarks, the Chairman of the association, Dr. Okeke explained that the newly inaugurated association has already mapped out a three month scheme known as My Anambra Football (MAF), he noted that the scheme is aimed at harnessing talented young athletes across various localities of the state to greater heights.
On his part, Rt. Hon Uche Victor Okafor charged the association on productive based orienteering and to always reach out to Representatives of the various Constituencies of the state as they are well assured of the Legislators’ assistance in various ways and wished them a successful tenure.
Similarly, the House Committee Chairman on Sports, and Member Representing Ogbaru I Constituency, Hon. Nonso Noble Igwe also encouraged the committee, likewise other House members who were present to receive the football association.
