\The Nigeria Centre for Disease Control, NCDC, on Wednesday Night confirmed five hundred and ninety-three new cases of COVID-19 pandemic in Nigeria.
The health agency at exactly 11:17 pm on August 19 confirmed the new cases on its official Twitter account. The development brings the overall confirmed cases of the dreaded disease to 50,488 in Nigeria.
NCDC Confirms 573 New Cases, As Anambra Records Yet Another Case
So far, 37,304 people have been reportedly discharged from the dreaded pandemic in Nigeria, while total cases of death rise to 985.
