The controversy surrounding the family of late Chief P. O Ogbuawa may have come to an end with an apology issued by Uchenna and Onyedika, the sons of the late business mogul. Before the burial of their late dad, they were involved in a tug of war with their Dad’s wife and some businessmen who they accused of having carnal knowledge with her. The case took another dimension when they purportedly circulated a Facebook post that went viral.
In the press release which was sent to anaedoonline.ng, the sons were very disappointed with their previous actions and apologized for their misdeeds.

RE- PRESS RELEASE – A RETRACTION AND APOLOGY
For the past few days, social media has been trending with the news of a feud between my senior brother, Mr. Onyedikachi Ogbuawa, and myself on one
side and Mr. Nonso Ukatu and Mr. Augustine Jideofor, a.k.a Austin Emmanuel on the other side I have carefully reviewed the entire situation and particularly retrospected on the invaluable assistance rendered to my Late father by Mr. Nonso Ukatu in view of the activation of the credit sales relationship with Fang Du. I have therefore come to a realization of the fact that the raging fight between us and the above-mentioned gentlemen is unnecessary and uncalled for.
It is therefore in the circumstance that I regretfully declare as follows:
(1) That the press release made by Mr. Onyedikachi Ogbuawa and my humble self on the 13th day of July 2020 wherein damaging allegations were made against Nonso Ukatu, Mr. Augustine Jideofor a.k.a Austin Emmanuel and the Divisional Police Officer (DPO) Central Police Station, Nnewi is hereby withdrawn and retracted by me
( 2) That I was wrongly advised and misled into subscribing to the said publication which was against my wish and all that I have always stood for
(3) I have at all times been a peaceful person who will not subscribe to unnecessary acrimony and hostility in handling/resolving of any issue.
( 4 ) The agreement for payment of the debt owed to Fang Du by P. 0 Ogbuawa and sons Nig. Ltd was executed willfully and willingly by us under a circumstance devoid of any inducement, harassment, and or any other coercive elements.
(5) That I have always known Mr. Nonso Ukatu and Austin Emmanuel as fine gentlemen whose interest in the family and business of P. Ogbuawa and sons LTD is nothing but genuine and for good.
(6) That apart from the said publication of 13th July 2020, I was not a party to any further publication wherein the names of Nonso Ukatu and Austin Emmanuel were disparaged, I, therefore, distance and dissociate myself from any of such further publication.
Ogbuawa Business Crisis: Family Begs Partners, Sues For Peace
I hereby once again with deep regret tender my unreserved apology to Mr. Nonso Ukatu, Austin Emmanuel, and the Divisional Police Officer, Central Police Station Nnewi who only discharged his official and professional duties, for the embarrassment, pain, and discomfort which the said publication might have caused them. I also apologize to the members of their esteemed families and friends who also would have been embarrassed one way or the other by the said publication. It is the wish of P. 0. Ogbuawa and sons Nig. Ltd which I am one of the directors to continue to transact business with Mr. Fang Du and Nonso Ukatu and I honestly hope that the incident of the last few days will not truncate the said relationship Thank you as I expect your kind understanding of the above and the acceptance of my unreserved apology as I pledge that such incident will not repeat itself again.
