Ebonyi Govt Rewards Ex-corps Member, See Why

The Ebonyi State Government on Wednesday rewarded Caleb Simon Junior, a former corps member, who passed out recently with a cash price and a honour’s certificate for his sacrifice and dedication.

It was learnt that Simon continued working at his place of primary assignment, when his mates heeded government’s advice to stay at home during the Covid-19 pandemic outbreak.

According to the National Youth Service Corps (NYSC), in addition to being conscientious at his place of primary assignment at the ICT Department of Ebonyi State Government House, he also donated safety materials to the Ministry of Environment.

The safety materials include two coverall with reflective fabric to help cover and protect the body, 20 safety dust nose masks, 20 safety pairs of hand gloves and 25 pairs of safety boots.

The materials were donated to protect the workers of the ministry while carrying out their duties.
