Chelsea manager, Frank Lampard, has urged his team to get rid of the mistakes they made, as they fought back to draw 3-3 with West Brom on Saturday.

The Baggies stunned Lampard’s men in the first half, by taking a three-goal lead. Callum Robinson scored twice, while Kyle Bartley also got on the scoresheet for Slaven Bilic’s men.

However, the Blues fought back after the break through Mason Mount, Callum Hudson-Odoi and Tammy Abraham to take a point.

When asked what his team should take away from the game, Lampard told Sky Sports: “There is a lot we can keep getting better at.

“I think they (West Brom) had three shots at target and scored goals. They were genuine mistakes. They weren’t team goals of things you need to analyze tactically. The mistakes need to go.”

Chelsea manager, Frank Lampard, has singled out half-time substitutes Callum Hudson-Odoi and Cesar Azpilicueta for their impacts, as they fought back from 3-0 down against West Brom to draw 3-3.

Marcos Alonso and Thiago Silva’s mistakes gifted goals for Callum Robinson and Kyle Bartley in the first half, before Lampard threw on Azpilicueta and Hudson-Odoi for Alonso and Mateo Kovacic.

Both had hands in goals as Chelsea staged a fight-back.

Azpilicueta laid the ball off to Mason Mount who scored from distance, before Hudson-Odoi made it 3-2.

In the third minute of added time, Tammy Abraham equalized to earn Chelsea one point.

“Azpi brings personality straight into the team even at left-back and Calum brought one v one something different,” Lampard told Sky Sports after the match.

“[He] got at people, things that Callum needs to do and can do because of his talent so he made a big difference.”

Lampard rung the changes after the break, taking off Mateo Kovacic for Calum Hudson-Odoi and Alonso for Cesar Azpilicueta.

Mason Mount netted after 55 minutes to begin the comeback, with substitute Hudson-Odoi grabbing the second and Tammy Abraham netting the equaliser in stoppage time.

“We all went in and our heads were down and he had to lift us up,” Abraham told Sky Sports.

“He said we don’t look like a team willing to go out in the second half and as a team, we have to lift each other.

“Thankfully Mason [Mount] got the goal which meant we could believe. I knew we’d get chances but to come back from 3-0 is never easy. The boys deserve credit, they kept going.
