Chelsea defender, Thiago Silva, has revealed the advice Arsenal winger, Willian, gave him before he joined the Blues.
Silva and Willian, a former Chelsea star, are both international teammates with the Brazil national team. The 36-year-old joined Chelsea from Paris Saint-Germain on August 28.
Silva said Willian urged him to join Frank Lampard’s side, adding that he would be really happy at Stamford Bridge because the people at the West London club are great.
He stated this before Chelsea’s Premier League clash with West Brom on Saturday evening. “As soon as the Champions League was over I spoke to Willian.

“He spoke very highly of Chelsea to me, he said, ‘Go, you’ll be really happy, the people there are great. Silva told BBC’s Football Focus.”
