Gift Camille, the girlfriend of Sanni Goriola Wasiu aka Lil Frosh, has spoken about the abuse she suffered. In a statement posted on her social media accounts, the victim narrated how the violence started. She recalled how Lil Frosh hit her at different times, damaged her phone and recorded her naked.

Chukwuemeka Ezeife, a former governor of Anambra State, has said God has approved the emergence of a Nigerian President of Southeast extraction. Ezeife asserted this on Monday in Awka, Anambra State during a summit for the grand opening of the Global Movement for Igbo Presidency 2023.

 

In the early hours of Tuesday, unknown gunmen have reportedly killed five persons, including a traditional ruler in Wereng community of Riyom local government area of Plateau. It was gathered that the gunmen stormed the village in the early hours of Tuesday and started shooting sporadically, leading to the killing of at least five persons, the Nation reports.

Former Imo state governor and current Senator representing Imo West Senatorial District, Senator Rocha Okorocha has challenged the incumbent Governor of the state, Senator Hope Uzodinma to publish the report that indicted him of commiting N106 billion fraud. Uzodinma had alleged that a panel chaired by Justice Benjamin Iheaka has recommended that key players of the government from 2011 to 2019 refund the state 106 billion which was the amount used to award fictitious contracts.

A 39-year-old public school teacher was arrested after he was allegedly caught having sex with his student in a classroom in Aglipay, Quirino, a Province in the Philippines, on Wednesday. Capt. William Agpalza, town police chief, said the teacher and a 15-year-old student were found lying on the floor when police officers barged into the classroom at around 3 p.m

The Trade Union Congress of Nigeria has called on the Federal Government to give Dr Ngozi Okonjo-Iweala, the necessary support to secure the position of Director-General of the World Trade Organisation (WTO). TUC made the call in a statement jointly signed by its President, Mr Quadri Olaleye and Secretary-General, Mr Musa-Lawal Ozigi, on Tuesday. The union said that Okonjo-Iweala’s emergence would reaffirm to the world that Nigerians and Africans are great people.
