American rapper, Cardi B, no doubt has a great love for Nigeria and she recently reacted to the nationwide SARS protest that is going on in the country.

On Thursday, October 8, 2020, series of End SARS protests rocked the nation as they were led by Nigerian celebrities, especially in Lagos state.

A Twitter user identified as Asiwaju Larry took to his page to alert American star, Cardi B, about the development and asked her to help publicise the happenings in Nigeria.

According to Larry, Nigerians were not safe, as they were in a state of pandemonium. He continued that if Cardi ever loved the country, she should use her platform to create more awareness.

He wrote: “Madam @iamcardib, trump is not your only problem. Your beloved Nigeria is currently in a state of pandemonium. We are not safe!!

If you’ve ever loved this country, please help use your platform to create more awareness for us.

Enough is enough! #EndSarsProtests #EndSARSNow!!” To that, Cardi responded by asking for more details on what was happening and promised to make her research. She continued that she loved Nigeria.

A number of Nigerians have been calling for the reform or the total disbanding of the Special Anti-Robbery Squad (SARS) due to the trigger-happy nature of some of their men and how they had ended up killing and extorting a number of citizens unprovoked, even though their job was to protect them.
