Asisat Oshoala Scores Brace As Barcelona Beat Sevilla 6-0 (Video)

Nigerian star Asisat Oshoala was on target twice as she inspired Barcelona women’s team to the 2019-20 Queen’s Cup Final.

The Catalans women thrashed their counterparts from Sevilla 6-0 to edge closer to clinching the title for the seventh time.

They are currently tied with Espanyol and Levante having won the trophy six times each in the past.

The Super Falcons attacker opened the scoring for Lluís Cortes’ ladies just four minutes after kickoff after making s superb run into empty space and carefully put the ball into the back of the net.

Caroline Graham Hansen doubled her side’s lead in the 18th minute after dribbling past two defenders before placing the ball into the bottom left corner of the post.

Three minutes later, Patricia Guijarro increased the tally to make it three unreplied goals for Barca ladies.

Oshoala completed her brace in the 38th minute after connecting with a low cross from the left-wing and converted the chance with the first half winding down.

Melanie Serrano and Aitana Bonmati both scored a goal each in the second half to seal the victory as they hope to reclaim the title for the first time since 2018.

Real Sociedad won the last edition after beating Atletico Madrid 2-1 during the regulation period but this time, the Nigerian goal poacher will be hoping to add to her title haul at the Catalan club.

Oshoala already won the Primera Division and the Supercopa Femenina titles this year and she will be hoping to win her third.

She failed to capture the Champions League title in the 2018-19 season following her side’s 4-1 defeat to Lyon, but she scored Barca’s only goal in the meeting.
