Following the revelation of Mr. Ifeanyi Ibezi’s impersonation of the serving member of the House of Representatives (Hon.Obinna Chidoka) representing Idemili north/south federal constituency of Anambra state and fraudulently obtaining of official vehicle plate number (MHR-160) was greeted by public condemnation and backlash.

One Ambassador Jeff Uba, media director to Ifeanyi Ibezi had employed the most deceitful damage control ever to salvage the fast decreasing image of his pay master.

In their usual arrogant manner, Ibezi marauding media aides went loose on social media, raining insults on the person of Hon. Obinna Chidoka accusing him of distracting and blackmailing their paymaster in a bid to gain popularity. Ifeanyi Ibezi through his media director denied impersonating Hon.Chidoka and obtaining official plate number as alleged, and further asked Hon. Obinna Chidoka to prepare for war.

The question one should ask this pro- criminal elements is, If Ifeanyi Ibezi is innocent of the allegation, why don’t he approach the court and sue Hon.Obinna Chidoka for character assassination rather than empty threat for war?

Ifeanyi Ibezi through his media director has also denounced the purported letter written by himself. According to Ibezi, “the letter has no semblance of his language and his office does not employ such language in writing” he also faulted the letter claiming that it bears a curious date with several mutilations. He claimed to be meticulous and could not have written such letter.

Unfortunately, Mr. Ifeanyi Ibezi’s claims of meticulosity and due diligence are the exact opposite of his person and character. From all indication Ifeanyi Ibezi who is educationally challenged and can neither read fluently nor write effectively in English language can not lay claim to tidiness.

Recall that the INEC form filled by Ifeanyi Ibezi prior to the 2019 NASS election has several mutilations and errors in it. Even his ordinary level certificate/results are of very poor grades.

This alone is already an established pattern in his dealing, so he can not disassociate himself from the letter which he wrote to the Chief transport officer of the House of Representatives on the 20th, August, 2020, requesting for official plate number long after his sack by the appeal court.

To all those who see nothing wrong in what Mr. Ibezi has done. Do you know that Ibezi’s letter head still bears the description “Member House of Reps. Idemili north/South federal constituency” ?

Let me reiterate the implication of his actions. Mr Ifeanyi Ibezi allegedly posed in an office belonging to a serving member of the 9th Assembly when visited by the transport unit as its the routine procedure before allocating the official plate number.

With the acquisition of National Assembly official plate number by Mr. Ibezi, he can easily have unrestricted access to different government offices, ministries, and agencies seeking for financial gratification, favour, contracts, while posing to be a serving member of the House.

Less we forget, going by the unanimous judgement of the appeal court which nullified and voided Mr. Ifeanyi Ibezi’s erroneous declaration by the Independent Electoral Commission(INEC), Ifeanyi Ibezi was never a member of the House of Representatives in the eyes of the Law.

We urge Ifeanyi Ibezi to surrender the official plate number( MHR-160) which he fraudulently obtained from the transport unit of NASS and stop parading himself to ministries, parastatals and agencies of government posing as a serving member of the 9th Assembly.

We await Mr. Ifeanyi Ibezi, a serial loser in Idemili elections to make good of his threat.
