A viral video has captured moment clergyman, Prophet Odumeje intervened and procured the release of inmates locked up by SARS in their Awkuzu cell located in Anambra state.
Anaedoonline.ng gathered that the man of God stepped in to demand for their release in the wake of peaceful protests against Police brutality across the country.
According online sources, Odumeje visited the “Akwuzu SARS” unit and saw to the release of persons who have been held in their custody.

In the video, he was spotted having a word with the inmates who were excited he came to their rescue.
Speaking in Igbo language, Odumeje advised them never to repeat same thing that led to their arrest and they all echoed “thank you sir”.
