Super Eagles and Al-Adalah FC of Saudi Arabia midfielder, John Ogu, has condemned Tuesday night’s alleged shooting of #ENDSARS protesters at the Lekki Toll Gate by military personnel sent to enforce the 4 pm (later adjusted to 9pm) curfew imposed on Lagos State by Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu in response to the breakdown of law and order in some parts of the state earlier in the day.

Ogu, in a tweet via his verified Twitter handle, @ogujohnogu, suggested that he may boycott the next round of games scheduled for the Super Eagles, stating that Nigerian politicians should send their children to represent the country in those games.

He tweeted: “The Politicians should asked their children to go and represent Nigeria in the next @NGSuperEagles, @thenff upcoming games.”
