The Lagos State Government has announced that private and public schools remain closed in the state due to the #EndSARS protest. The Lagos State Commissioner of Information and Strategy, Gbenga Omotoso, announced this on Sunday. He had earlier tweeted that only public schools remained closed in the state before giving an update that the extended closure includes private schools.

It will be recalled that Sanwo-Olu had earlier eased the 24-hour curfew on Friday to start from 6pm to 8am. Babajide Sanwo-Olu, the Lagos State Governor, has once again reviewed the curfew imposed on the state which was put in place to curb the civil unrest in the aftermath of the #EndSARS protests against police brutality. It will be recalled that Sanwo-Olu had eased the 24-hour curfew on Friday to start from 6pm to 8am.

The chaos is an aftermath of a peaceful protest against police brutality that was hijacked by hoodlums who went as far as looting businesses and burning down police stations in major states in the country.

 

Some Kaduna residents have attacked the office of the National Agency for Food, Drug Administration And Control (NAFDAC), carting away seized fake and expired drugs and beverages. The affected offices include the NAFDAC warehouse belonging to the investigation and enforcement directorate, as well as the training and research institute for the northern region and Federal Capital Territory, Abuja.
