Three days after celebrating his 60th birthday with his family and friends, Argentine football legend Diego Maradona has reportedly been admitted to a hospital.
An unnamed hospital in La Plata in Argentina is where the football legend was said to have been taken to and he is currently receiving treatments.
According to the report on UK Mirror, the World Cup winner has been tested negative for COVID-19, but no comment is yet to be made on what actually took him to the hospital.
On Friday, October 30, when Diego Maradona turned 60, the Argentine was in charge of his club Gimnasia in their League encounter against Patronato.
The report added that Diego Maradona left the stadium that day with some pain as he was helped to move out after the League game.
Maradona who played 36 games for Barcelona during his active playing days is now expected to be seriously monitored over the next 24 hours before the hospital will make an official statement.

Last year, it would be recalled that Maradona’s daughter claimed that his father was suffering from sedatives before the Argentine denied it on social media.
“I don’t know what she meant to say or what she had interpreted. “What I do know is that as you get older, people worry more about what you’re going to leave than what you’re doing.
“I tell you all that I’m not going to leave anything, that I am going to donate it. I’m not going to give away everything I earned by running during my life, I’m going to donate it.”
