Barcelona To Sue PSG Star Neymar For Being Overpaid At Camp Nou

Paris-Saint-Germain star Neymar will be sued by Spanish giants Barcelona for overpaying the Brazilian footballer during his first two years at the Camp Nou.

Barcelona are said to have overpaid the Brazilian due to tax miscalculation which made the player to enjoy more income during his first 24 months as a Catalan.

And now that they have discovered what actually happened, Barcelona are interested in getting their money back which is in the region of £9 million around N4.5 Billion according to the report on Daily Mail.

Neymar was said to have paid Barcelona some huge sum of money before after moving to Paris-Saint-Germain and Barcelona are now making another attempt to get more from him.

The report added that after concluding the tax inspection covering the 2015 financial year, Barcelona discovered that they paid Neymar excessively and want the money back.

Tax Agency have also told Barcelona chiefs that the money could be turned into a donation for Neymar if serious effort is not taken to claim it back.

Between 2013-2017, Neymar played 123 games for Barcelona and scored 68 goals winning two League titles and also the Champions League.

Since joining Paris-Saint-Germain three years ago, Neymar has played 55 games and has scored 49 goals so far for the club.
