Popular Nigerian artiste, David Adeleke popularly known as Davido has expressed gratitude to God for the day he found his signee, Adewale Mayowa Emmanuel otherwise known as Mayorkun.
The music executive discovered Mayorkun on Twitter after he shared a cover of his song “The Money”. He went on to sign the self-acclaimed “Mayor of Lagos” in 2016 and they’ve had a good working relationship since then.
In Davido’s newly released album “A Better Time”, he featured Mayorkun on one of the tracks titled “The Best” and fans have hyped the sound.

Mayorkun took to Twitter to share a video vibing to the soundtrack and singing the lyrics of the song. He also noted that he learnt from the best “Davido”.
He shared the video and captioned it “THE BEST’ #ABT”.
In reaction, Davido quoted the tweet and wrote,
