Four (4) students of Chukwumeka Odumegwu University, Igbaraim Campus were last night, involved in a ghastly accident, which the claimed the life of 200 level student of Department of English of the institution, Anyachor Maureen Chinecherem.
According to reports, the motorcycle accident took place along Ezinkwo road around twin lodge in front of security checkpoint around 8pm.
Eyewitness account had it that the two (2) motorcycles which were carrying two passengers respectively collided when one of the motorcyclists was trying to abscond from the security men raising huge sticks threatening to strike them off the bike.

While Anyachor Maureen and one of the motorcyclist died on the sport, Anusionwu Ifeoma from Philosophy Department was unconscious, Okoye Precious and Iheonu Divine from English Department were seriously injured.
