The Imo state government, led by Gov Hope Uzodinma, has commenced pulling down of Somto Hospital which was built by Rochas Okorocha’s administration with the state’s money.
The act has caused chaos and mixed feelings amongst Imo state indegines both physically and on social media.

Some citing the beef between the two Imo political moguls (Okorocha and Uzodinma) to be the reason for the destruction of the hospital, due to recent turn out of events in the political atmosphere, while others are commending the act, saying that it was only proper to bring it down as most of the previous governments projects are substandard and that the building was another death trap.
