Nnamdi Kanu Attacks Buhari as Peru President Resigns Over Protests

The leader of the Indigenous People of Biafra, IPOB, Nnamdi Kanu has knocked the President, Major General Muhammadu Buhari (retd.), over the resignation of Peru President, Manuel Merino.

Merino resigned as a result of the protests rocking the country.

Reacting to his decision, Kanu slammed Buhari for handling the EndSARS protests in a different manner.

He tweeted: “Peru President Merino resigns following street protests but in Nigeria, following #EndSARS protests, Nigeria president is either persecuting and freezing bank accounts of Nigerian youths or slaughtering them at #Obigbo and Nigerians are seemingly tolerating it. “

The EndSARS protests were a call for an end to police brutality and bad governance in Nigeria.
