Guardiola Reacts After Man City Failed To Secure Win Against FC Porto

Pep Guardiola said his team deserve to win last night game. Premier League giants Manchester City on Tuesday night, November 1, failed to secure a win against FC Porto in their Champions League game which ended in goalless draw.

But FC Porto would have the VAR system to thank for saving them from a defeat against Manchester City after Gabriel Jesus’ 80th minute goal was ruled as offside.

Manchester City went into the encounter having already qualified for the Champions League knock out stages, but Pep Guardiola and his wards still wanted to win the battle.

Raheem Sterling had the chance to open the scoring for Manchester City in the 5th minute, but his shot was blocked by Porto defenders.

Two minutes later, Phil Foden also had the chance to register a goal, but his effort was well saved by FC Porto goalkeeper Agustin Marchesin.

The first half ended with both teams finding it difficult to score in the touch Champions League encounter.

Both teams also tried their best in the second half, but the match eventually ended in a draw as Manchester City are still topping Group C with 13 points.
