In October, Robinho signed for boyhood club Santos, but saw his contract terminated four days later due to public outcry.

During that time, one of Santos’ sponsors ended their link with the Brazilian club “out of respect for women.”

Before joining Milan, Robinho played for Real Madrid and Manchester City and won 100 caps for Brazil, scoring 28 goals.
