To celebrate the yuletide season, the Nnewi chapter of Anaedo Concerned Youth Initiative has began the distribution of bags of rice and cash gifts to the less privileged across all the communities in Nnewi.
The bags of rice and cash gifts which was donated to the group by Chief Executive Officer (CEO) and Chairman of the Board of Directors of KM Group Limited, Ichie Kenneth Maduakor, is geared towards putting smile on the faces of poor across the communities in Nnewi.
Flagging-off the distribution yesterday, Wednesday, December 16th, 2020, at Igwe Nnewi palace, the donor, Ichie Kenneth Maduakor who had earlier received the blessings of Igwe Nnewi, His Royal Highness, Igwe Kenneth Orizu (III), said that the humanitarian gesture to the poor and the downtrodden is just a way demonstrate the love of Christ to less privileged, to enable them to celebrate the yuletide season.
According to him, he decided to share the Christmas package through Anaedo Concerned Youth Initiative because he believes in the vision and mission of the group, especially in their fight against injustice for the poor. He noted that the distribution of the food items is not politically motivated as he doesn’t have any plan for political participation.
He revealed that the 10kg bags which is numbering over eight hundred (800) bags and cash gifts will be distributed across the communities in Nnewi.
Speaking to Anaedoonline.ng, the Leader of Anaedo Concerned Youth Initiative, Mr. Sylvester Ejidike said that the bags of rice and cash gifts are only meant for the less privileged in Nnewi, noting that the beneficiaries were selected by their members across the communities.
He appreciated Ichie Kenneth Maduakor for his philanthropic gestures, promising that he will ensure that the Christmas palliative will get to the downtrodden.
On his part, the Deputy Leader of the group, Hon. Echezona Anazodo (EcheHome) noted that distribution of the Christmas palliative is inline with the vision of Anaedo Concerned Youth Initiative, in fighting for the rights of the less privileged and alleviating the sufferings of the poor.

He said that the Christmas package will go a long way in putting smiles on the faces of the downtrodden living in Nnewi. He said that the distribution of the palliative which started in Otolo, will move to other communities in the remaining days.
The distribution started with the distribution of 200 bags and cash gifts to the less privileged in Otolo Nnewi.
It had the presence of the Crown Prince of Nnewi, Prince Barr. Obi Orizu.
