”My Aim Is To Make Them Happy” – Man Spoils Elderly Parents With Expensive Phones

A South African man, Melusi Sitshaluza has bought expensive mobile phones for his parents as a way of celebrating their time on earth.

He took to a Facebook group, #ImStaying to reveal that he intends to make them happy while they are still alive.

Melusi said that after receiving the gift, they were very happy. He went on to explain that he hated it when people would spend a lot of money on their parents’ funerals but nothing on them while they were alive.

According to the man, he saved R4,500 to be able to buy the phones for them.

In his words;

“My father is 68 years old and my mother is 62 years old, my aim is to make them happy while they are still alive.

I hate it when people arrange an expensive funeral when their parents are gone while they didn’t enjoy their life when they were alive I bought two Samsung A2 Cores for both my parents so they can chat on WhatsApp, they were very very happy.

“I saved R375 for 12 months and the total is R4500 in December, I bought my parents groceries that will last them 2 to 3 months. Let’s learn to save, people.
