Former Secretary to the Government of the Federation (SGF) Senator Anyim Pius Ayim has denied boycotting the Southeast zonal meeting of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP). The meeting held in Enugu State on Monday. Anyim was reacting to reports which said he boycotted the meeting which was convened to discuss the Anambra State governorship election. He described the reports as the handiwork of mischief makers.

 

The 2023 campaign posters of Kogi State Governor, Yahaya Bello on Tuesday flooded several major streets and roundabouts of Katsina metropolis, announcing his bid for the 2023 Presidential race. The posters, which began flooding Katsina on Monday night, was being sponsored by a group known as Nigeria Youth Awareness Group (YAB), who was also behind its printing and circulation.

The Northern Governors Forum has said the region is set to start cattle ranching as a means of curbing the incessant herders/farmers crisis in the North and other parts of the country. Chairman of the forum, Simon Lalong, while speaking on Channels Television’s News @ 10, on Tuesday, noted that some states in the region were ready with land but need funds.

An All Progressives Congress governorship aspirant in Anambra State, Senator Andy Uba has boasted that with the party’s ticket he would win the November 6 Governorship poll. He said this while speaking to party supporters in Awka, on Tuesday. Uba said, “2007 campaign will be a child’s play, if you give me your ticket.
