Delegation From FUTO Pays Courtesy Visit To Uzodimma

The Vice Chancellor of the Federal University of Technology, Owerri Prof. Francis Chukwuemeka Eze and his Management team has paid a courtesy visit to His Excellency Gov. Hope Uzodimma at the Government House Owerri.

Prof. Eze who spoke on behalf of the team appreciated the governor for the time and expressed joy over the leadership styles of the governor and his giant strides well seen all over the state.

He described Gov. Hope Uzodimma as Mr. Project and expressed his happiness on behalf of the university community over the Nekede-Ihiagwa road construction which has helped in ameliorating the pains suffered by both staff and students on that road as it is no longer the same as at today.

He added that the 3R mantra initiative of the state government has placed much trust on the government than in the past.

In his speech, Gov. Hope Uzodimma extolled the leadership qualities of the academic Don made manifest in the institution and charged them to continue raising the banner of academic standards high as the institution is one of the pride of the state.

Gov. Uzodimma made it clear that his administration is an all inclusive one and appealed that his government is open to innovations from the academic community and will be highly appreciated for the growth of the state.

On the Nekede-Ihiagwa road construction, Gov. Hope Uzodimma encouraged them not to be dismayed as work is on progress on that road as soon it will be ready for commissioning and appreciated the delegation for their visit.
