After six (6) horrible days in the den of kidnappers, a Traditional Ruler in Nnewi, Obi Afamefuna Charles Obi (Ogidi IV) has held Thanksgiving in Church for his release from his abductors.

The Thanksgiving which was in appreciation to God, held at Cathedral Church of St. Mary’s, Uruagu-Nnewi.

The monarch was joined by his wife, Lolo Udochukwu Obi (Nee Nwokenagu) and his mother.

He was accompanied by his cabinet members and his subjects.

Ven. Dr. Stanley Awuzie who received the monarch at the alter, returned all the Glory to God, who honoured his word and answered the prayers of the congregation.

Church Atmosphere

It will be recalled that Anaedonline.ng reported that Obi Afamefuna Charles Obi (Ogidi IV), Obi Uruagu Nnewi who was kidnapped on Friday, 12th February, 2021, was released on Tuesday, 16th February, 2021.
