2021: APC Now A Force In Anambra – Chairman

The Chairman of the All Progressives Congress APC in Anambra State, Chief Basil Ejidike says, the Party has become the beautiful bride in the State.

This, he says is the reason, while the chieftains of the All Progressives Grand Alliance (APGA), the People’s Democratic Party (PDP) and others are joining them.

Speaking with reporters Monday in Awka, Ejidike mentioned Chief Kodilinye Okelekwe, who was the governorship aspirant in PDP, the former Majority leader in the State House of Assembly, Hon Victor Okoye as some of the heavy weights that joined APC recently.

He also, said that the United People’s Party UPP had collapsed it’s State structure into APC, adding that within the week over 100 other members of PDP and APGA would join too

He said some APGA members were attacking APC in the social media because of the threat his Party possessed as regards to the November 6 governorship election in the State

Ejidike however, debunked the claim that he was attacked in one of the centres at Orumba, in the ongoing registration and revalidation exercise by his party

He warned those behind such report in the social media to desist from it, adding that nothing would stop APC from winning the November 6 governorship election in the state

He maintained that the ongoing exercise by APC had been moving on well except on few areas where they complained of inadequate materials, which according to him was being resolved by the Committee in charge of the exercise

He therefore, thanked Governors, Dave Umahi of Ebonyi State and Hope Uzodinma of Imo for their support in the ongoing exercise, as well as some of the party’s stakeholders in the state.
