There was confusion around the Wasinmi area in the Ayedire Local Government Area of Osun State on Saturday evening as kidnappers abduct two travellers on Ife/Ibadan expressway.
It was gathered the two travellers were accosted while they were on thier way from Ile-Ife to Ibadan.
The kidnappers waylaid them and took them into a nearby bush.
A security source revealed they have arrested three of the perpetrators and efforts were on to arrest others.

When contacted, the spokesperson of Osun State Police Command, Mrs Yemisi Opalola confirmed the incident.
She noted the police have rescued the two abducted victims.
She said: “We deployed our men to the scene of the crime after a distress call and we rescued two victims and arrested three suspects.”

Speaking to our correspondent, Obi Charles spoke on his experience in the hands of his abductors and how he was finally freed after a ransom was paid.
“On February 12, I attended the burial ceremony of my mother’s elder brother, in Uru-Dunu, Ifite Oraifite, in Ekwusigo council of Anambra State. On return to the palace, I informed those in the palace that I needed to be somewhere, and that I would be back soon.
“Upon driving out, on Nkwo-Nkwo Road, I observed that a Camry car was trailing me closely, but I remained alert and unwavering. Seeing that they were up to something, I abruptly conferred the road leading to Ichi mortuary in Ekwusigo Local Government Area of Anambra State, but they followed me.
