Eze Ilomuanya Refutes Reports Of Alleged Squabble With Okorocha

Against the trending news on social media, Imo State monarch Obi of Obinugwu, Eze Cletus Ilomuanya has come out to say that he never had a clash with Senator Rochas Okorocha, adding that they only joked in the aircraft.

Eze Ilomuanya who fought for the Eze Imo stool throughout Okorocha’s eight years tenure as governor of Imo State was said to have threatened to attack Okorocha with his staff, something he said is untrue.

In a message to a reporter in Abuja be berated those peddling falsehood against him, adding that “This social media will ruin us if we aren’t careful”

He however admitted saying he will hit Okorocha with his staff but that was only a joke in return to another from Okorocha who gave up his seat for the monarch in the plane.

“This social media will ruin us if we aren’t careful. I and the Former Governor Okorocha only cracked jokes in the aircraft before takeoff”

“Getting to Abuja, social media reports were far different from the real story. He sat on my chair before I came into the craft, he asked me to take over his own seat which I did and he jokingly said “ihea awugikwa oche eze imo ana’zo azo” (meaning this is not Imo Ezeship stool one can contest for) which I responded thus “nga aku gi mkpara ooo (Meaning I’ll hit you with my staff)”

Anaedoonline.ng reported that Eze Cletus Ilomuanya aboard Air Peace flight to Abuja accosted Sen. Rochas Okorocha sitting next to him, exploded with so much rage and royal anger.

What started as a mellow drama, all of a sudden snowballed into a full-fledged confrontation inside the aircraft, as the charismatic popular Royal father descended on Okorocha with his walking stick. If not the timely intervention of the flight Captain who rushed out when Ilomuanya was hitting Okorocha with his Royal walking stick to leave his sight, the story would have been something else.
