Thomas Tuchel is the Premier League manager for the month of March as he continues his impressive start to new life at Chelsea.

The high point of German gaffer in the month of March was recording victories over the two Merseyside outfits including Liverpool and Everton. The former Paris Saint-Germain has turned things around at Stamford Bridge since he took over from Frank Lampard.

And the Blues who were ninth on the league standings have moved to fourth behind Man City, Man United and Leicester City. Tuchel who beat the likes of Ole Gunnar Solskajer, Brendan Rodgers and Brighton’s Graham Potter told Chelsea website:

“I am really happy to have received this award and I believe it is a great achievement for everybody at the club who is involved in putting the team together to play each week. “The award would not be possible if it wasn’t for the hard work of all my coaching staff and the wider support team who all push the team in the same direction, to achieve success.

“Lastly, I want to acknowledge the hard work of the players who have given me their maximum efforts and commitment since I arrived and we hope we can keep this strong run going until the very end of the season.”

Meanwhile, the international break has come to an end so we turn our attention to the resumption of the Premier League campaign on Saturday with all the big numbers needed ahead of the game.

Here, we have the clash of the best defence and the worst attack in the Premier League – going by numbers since Thomas Tuchel was appointed.

Across all competitions, it’s been 687 minutes since Chelsea conceded – facing teams like Leeds, Liverpool, Manchester United and Atletico Madrid twice in that run – and Tuchel has seen his side ship just two goals in the Premier League. A title challenge could be on the agenda next season.

It doesn’t take a genius to know that a Chelsea win to nil at 5/6 looks the most likely outcome here.
