Hon. Nonso Smart Okafor, the honourable member representing the good people of Nnewi North Constituency at the Anambra State House of Assembly and a governorship aspirant under the All Progressives Grand Alliance (APGA) was at Nibo to be with the Okonkwo family as they laid to rest their son, Kamsi Okonkwo.
Hon Okafor expressed his deepest shock at the unfortunate accident which cut short the life of Kamsi who was loved by all and had an amazing future ahead of him.

He prayed for his soul to rest in peace and God to grant his family and close friends, the fortitude to bear this heavy loss.
He also called on relevant authorities to review extant laws and find ways to regulate the movement of heavy duty trucks and vehicles during the day around Anambra state and beyond, to avoid the repeated tragedy often associated with their operation.

It is his wish that Kamsi’s death though painful, will not be vain. It is a terrible loss that many will find hard to come to terms with and Hon Okafor prayed for God to help everyone who was a part of Kamsi’s life to get through this tough period.
