Controversy Over Lady On Viral Video Flogged By Some Young Men

Yesterday a viral video on social media got internet users talking about a young lady that was stripped naked and beaten mercilessly with a gas cylinder hose while pouring water all over her body and rolling her on the floor.

This story has a lot of shady facts surrounding it. As far as the world of the internet goes, it is difficult to say what is true and what is false.

The first speculators posted that it was her brother and her father flogging her because she made a viral video on the internet dressed provocatively and smoking. As much as this does not justify the reason to whip a grown lady like that, the girl in the viral video smoking and the lady being whipped are NOT the same person. Here is why?

The lady smoking has a tattoo on her thighs, the lady being flogged didn’t have any tattoos. The only feasible marks on her body were those made by the long gas cylinder hose.

The second speculators say she ran away from home for a long time while her family were looking for her and she was found with a man. Another set of persons say this was not her family members rather a vigilante group where she was handed over.

While brooding over that, a native doctor made a viral video laying curses on those that flogged the lady, invoking his deities to go and kill them all in Libya but they were speaking Igbo in the video???
