After Sunday’s postponement, Manchester United return to action on Thursday against Roma in the Europa League semi-finals.
United of course have a 6-2 lead from the first leg, which should mean that this game is a formality if they do a professional job.
Sunday’s events also mean that Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s side should be fully rested and refreshed as they bid to qualify for their first major final since 2018.
Solskjaer will be looking to end his semi-final hoodoo, having lost each of the previous four in charge of United.
The night’s other Europa League semi-final will kick off at the same time, with Arsenal hosting Villarreal and looking to overturn their 2-1 first leg defeat.
United are taking a 24-man squad to Italy for the game. Long-term absentees Phil Jones and Anthony Martial were missing as expected.
Daniel James is also injured and will miss the clash, but Anthony Elanga has travelled and could make his debut. It’s tough to call what the result will be on the night.
That’s because Roma will have nothing to lose and should come out fighting and United know that barring an absolute meltdown, they’re through to the final.

A United away goal would absolutely kill the tie once and for all and given this season’s away form, you’d fancy them to get it.
If United score first, it would puncture Roma’s confidence and United should go on to win.
