Popular Facebook Influencer Amanda Chisom has come under fire for threatening to arrest Lawyer cum PR and Ad consultant Chukwudi Iwuchukwu whilst rejecting a painstaking Advert production produced by Visage Media for Chinmark group.

The client Mr. Iwuchukwu in a viral post accused Amanda of being rude, especially as it concerns communication when working with a client. Going into details, he recalled how Amanda contracted his firm Visage Media for an Advert production which he charged her the sum of N3.5 million after bargaining. He also recalled that he gave her a full commission of 10% as against his company’s policy of 5%.

After payment, he said that Amanda became almost impossible to reach and insisted on voice notes and text messages which she will seldom respond to. According to him, Chinmark Group was supposed to provide the model that would be used for the advert but Amanda declined, insisting that the advert production company provided the model. This strained the already thin budget hence Mr. Iwuchukwu’s frantic approach to reach Amanda.

When she eventually picked up the phone, he suggested to her that the company use one of its ambassadors Miss Blossom Martins, a suggestion which Amanda Chisom threw off the table pointing that Chinmark would not want a girl for his shoot, but would rather a male model. This put a huge question mark on Amanda Chisom’s feminist agenda and the women supporting women campaign she preaches on her timeline.

Mr. Iwuchukwu went on to contract a male model whom he paid N150,000. On the proposed day of the shoot, the Chinmark branded car that Amanda Chisom was supposed to provide was nowhere to be found, and this would cause the shoot to be rescheduled incurring extra cost on the ad production company. After post-production, a final draft was sent to Amanda which she rejected.

All attempts to get Amanda to accept the video proved abortive. Consequentially, the company sent the Ad to the CEO Chinmark Group who appreciated the production, surprisingly stating he would have preferred a female model.

Amanda further threatened to arrest Mr. Iwuchukwu if he did not reshoot the advert. This was brought to Facebook judges and jury to adjudicate.

In a live video earlier today, Amanda Chisom stated her side of the story emphasizing her non-negotiable right as a contractor for a job to make due amendments where she feels dissatisfaction, a right Mr. Iwuchukwu’s firm did not honor and was faulted for it.

She also stated that Mr. Iwuchukwu told her that she would either take the job or leave it, an unprofessional response to a dissatisfied contractor.

She revealed Mr. Iwuchukwu’s dirty linens as he would always call her to complain of lack of funds, and she did free promotions for him and at some point, he owed her N20,000 for a very long time.

She lamented that Iwuchukwu would call her about 20 times an hour and she does not appreciate calls and prefers text messages. Fans expressed their dissatisfaction at this statement and asked if a business person has the right to choose which medium customers contacted her.

She ended the long video with a note to the online judges informing them that whether they believe her side of the story or not is their business.
