Anambra Guber: Nonso Smart Okafor Calls For Free And Fair Primaries

– Receives Support From Orumba North APGA*

Anambra Lawmaker, Hon. Nonso Smart Okafor has called for a free and fair primary election ahead of the All Progressive Grand Alliance (APGA) Anambra 2021 Governorship election primaries scheduled for June 23rd.

Nonso Okafor who made the call today, Tuesday, 11th May, 2021, during his consultation meeting with members of APGA in Orumba North, said that although All Progressive Grand Alliance (APGA) is not known for conducting fraudulent primaries, all efforts must be geared towards a free and fair primary election.

He said that a level playing field should be provided for all aspirants in the party, to ensure unity ahead of the November 6th Governorship election, which he said will be a landslide victory for the party.

The Governorship Aspirant advised the party leadership not to disappoint the expectations and belief of many Anambrains in the party, informing party members to disregard the speculation in some quarters that the party has adopted a consensus candidate.

Speaking further, he told potential delegates in the L.G.A who he said that he believes will be men and women of integrity to vote for him as he remains the brightest prospect for 2021 Guber victory.

While calling for the party leadership to organize a debate for aspirants, Hon. Nonso Smart Okafor said that he is sellable personality which the party should leverage on.

Expressing their support for the lawmaker, the Chairman of All Progressive Grand Alliance (APGA) in Orumba North L.G A, Hon. Paulinus Umennadi said, Hon. Nonso Smart Okafor has indeed demonstrated that he is a person that can sustain APGA legacies in Anambra State, promising that he gets support from the L.G.A.
